Public Holiday Collections & Closures

The only three public holidays that affect your bin collection days are New Year’s Day, Good Friday and Christmas Day. These are marked on the bin collections calendar with a purple square.

There are no collections on these days and therefore all collections roll forward one day until the end of the affected week (note: Friday collections will occur on Saturdays).

Resource Recovery Centre – Public Holiday Closures

Both of NAWMA’s Resource Recovery Centres (at Edinburgh North and Pooraka) are closed on the following days: New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Anzac Day and Christmas Day.
