NAWMA is administered by a Board in accordance with the requirements of the Local Government Act (1999), the NAWMA Charter and other various policies. The membership of the Board comprises of ten directors – three directors appointed by each of the Constituent Councils, and one independent person who acts as Chair.
The NAWMA Board is responsible for the overall governance, management and strategic direction of the organisation. The Board meets bi-monthly and drives organisational performance to deliver efficient, best practice service to our Constituent Councils.
