We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Craig Heidenreich as the new Chief Executive Officer of NAWMA from Wednesday 11 March 2026.
Craig brings extensive commercial and infrastructure experience, with decades in the water and wastewater industry. A Chemical Engineer with a PhD from the University of Adelaide, Craig has most recently served in General Manager and CEO roles within several commercially sophisticated, customer-focused organisations. Craig’s strong commercial insight, business leadership and infrastructure expertise will be a valuable addition as NAWMA enters its next phase of growth and strategic development.
We also take this opportunity to sincerely thank outgoing CEO Toby Terlet for his leadership and contribution to NAWMA. Toby has played an important role in guiding the organisation and positioning it for future success. We wish him all the very best in his next chapter.
